2024 Community Challenge:

a block party for good!

On Sunday, April 28, Children for Change will be hosting our 6th Annual C4C Community Challenge. Hundreds of families from across Marin will come together to celebrate students as changemakers, lifting up their voices and empowering them to engage in our community in positive ways.

Why is it called The Community Challenge? We are challenging young people and families to engage in our community through advocacy and volunteering. More than 15 Marin nonprofits will be at The Community Challenge with hands-on advocacy activities and with family-friendly ways to get involved in their organization to make our community healthier and stronger for all!

Join families, community leaders, and essential nonprofit partners for a day of joy, community, and student advocacy!

When: 4/28 from 10 - 12 | Where: Downtown San Anselmo | Who: all families in Marin | Cost: free!
Register below and be automatically entered into our raffle!

Deep gratitude to our partners and sponsors who have made The Community Challenge possible!

Follow along! #C4Cchallenge

  • Will there be a hike this year?: No. This year The Challenge will be a block party and focus on bringing students and families into stronger relationship with our nonprofit partners through advocacy and volunteering.
  • Do we have to be part of C4C to attend?: No! Every family in Marin is invited to come!
  • How can our family get involved with C4C?: We host monthly Family Orientation sessions! Join the movement here.
  • Is there a cost?: No! We want every family to be able to participate. We sought local businesses and funders to sponsor the event this year. Thank you so much to our sponsors for this support!
  • “My family looks forward to this event every year. I walk away with a sense of pride and optimism in our youth—they know that they can change the world."
